Like home ownership, neighborhood asset stewardship involves ongoing maintenance and upkeep. Aging equipment eventually requires improvement or replacement. Listed below are improvement projects for future consideration, dependent on additional funds.
The HVAC system at the clubhouse is over 30 years old, inefficient, and kept running due to the kindness of a resident.
Cost equivalent to 43 Full Memberhips.
As of 2019, electricity costs about $1000 per month between pool equipment use, inefficient clubhouse infrastructure, and lighting. A solar system could be a long term solution.
We are currently on the wait list at CPS for their service.
The 40 year old Double Door sets allow for water penetration and reduce energy efficiency.
Cost equivalent to 20 Full Memberships.
Utilizing a partnership, the W.O.S.C.A. board was able to have the Indian Woods courts improved. This is a possible solution for the Parksite Woods location. But if the community funds this renovation this is an approximate expenditure.
Cost equivalent to 39 Full Memberships.
Replacement of pool water for health and safety. Approximately $3000.
Replace 40 year old clubhouse flooring. Approximately $4000.
Replace Clubhouse kitchen counters.
Re-stripe Parking Lot at Clubhouse (Eagle Scout project needing materials). Approximately $400.
Replace Pool Operations/Management Computer. Approximately $1000
Install Information Marquee.
Cost equivalent to 58 Full Memberships.
Our minimum goal is to maintain these aging assets our preference is to improve them.
