The clubhouse at the Woods of Shavano is an ideal setting for private parties, meetings or other special occasions. The space accommodates 52 guests, and tables and chairs are included in venue rental. For an additional fee, during June through October, the adjacent community pool may be reserved along with the clubhouse. (Due to COVID-19, reservations are temporarily suspended. Woods of Shavano Community Association (WOSCA) members are eligible for rental discounts. After the first year of Full membership, upon each renewal payment, active Full members are eligible for one complimentary rental ($60 use fee applies) per membership year.
A $100 refundable security deposit is required for all events.

Active Full members of Woods of Shavano Community Association (WOSCA) enjoy access to the community swimming pool, which is one of our neighborhood’s most popular and valuable assets.
Typically, the pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The Woods of Shavano neighborhood is fortunate to have its own community park, two sets of tennis courts and two basketball goals. These venues provide an opportunity for residents to enjoy physical activity in the great outdoors, without leaving the neighborhood.
In light of COVID-19, please be aware, tennis court doors, locks, and equipment are not disinfected. For your safety and the safety of others, please sanitize your hands before and after entering the lock code and opening gate. Sanitizer is not provided so we recommend you bring your own.
The Woods of Shavano Community Association (WOSCA) Board has an agreement with Karen Mannheimer and Scott Wilbur of The Tennis Park at Whispering Oaks to institute a Shared-Court Program. The Tennis Park paid for improvements to the Indian Woods tennis courts in exchange for the occasional use of these courts. Tennis lessons are offered by the two tennis instructors, and leagues may be formed.
When not in use, tennis courts may be used by active Full members of WOSCA.
Youth (ages 5 - 16) living in the Woods of Shavano and surrounding neighborhoods, whose parents or grandparents are active Full members of the Woods of Shavano Community Association (WOSCA) are eligible to join the Shavano Sharks summer swim team.
In 2021, the team will compete in Division D of the Lone Star Summer Swim League; league information is available at http://www.lsssl.org/.
Swim team registration details will be communicated as they become available in late April.
