Clubhouse Rentals
The clubhouse at the Woods of Shavano is an ideal setting for private parties, meetings or other special occasions. The space accommodates 52 guests, and tables and chairs are included in venue rental. For an additional fee, during June through October, the adjacent community pool may be included in your rental. Please note that we will not close the pool to members during your rental.
Woods of Shavano Community Association (WOSCA) members are eligible for rental discounts. After the first year of Full membership, upon each renewal payment, active Full members are eligible for one complimentary rental ($80 use fee applies) per membership year.
A $100 refundable security deposit is required for all events.

Community Pool
Active Full members of Woods of Shavano Community Association (WOSCA) enjoy access to the community swimming pool, which is one of our neighborhood’s most popular and valuable assets.

The pool is not open to the public during swim team practices in the afternoons from 5-7.50 pm, May 4 - May 21 or from 8am - 11.30am, May 26 - June 26

The pool will be closed to members from 7am - 1pm
Please be considerate of the pool maintenance & cleaning staff, who generally maintain the pool on Mondays.
Park/Sports Courts
The Woods of Shavano neighborhood is fortunate to have its own community park, two sets of tennis courts (one set marked for pickleball) and two basketball goals. These venues provide an opportunity for residents to enjoy physical activity in the great outdoors, without leaving the neighborhood.
Residents interested in youth tennis programming on Woods of Shavano courts, please email us at woodsofshavano@yahoo.com for information about lessons. The Woods of Shavano Community Association (WOSCA) has an agreement with The Tennis Park at Whispering Oaks to institute a Shared-Court Program. The Tennis Park paid for improvements to the Indian Woods tennis courts in exchange for priority use of these courts.
When not in use by The Tennis Park, tennis courts may be used by active Full members of WOSCA.
Shavano Sharks--Swim Team
Youth (ages 5 - 18) living in the Woods of Shavano and surrounding neighborhoods are eligible to join the Shavano Sharks summer swim team.
Swim team fees, practice information and a registration form are available online at https://woodsofshavanosharks.swimtopia.com/.
The Sharks compete in Division D of the Lone Star Summer Swim League; league information is available at http://www.lsssl.org/.
